This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it, and what I do with it.
I am Tori Cadogan, an independent educational adviser, operating as a sole trader. For the purposes of UK data protection law I am the data controller for the information described in this policy.
When you complete the enquiry form on this website, I collect:
I do not ask for any other information, and I do not require you to create an account.
Most people who contact me are parents enquiring about schools. In writing to me you may choose to tell me about your child, including their age, their current school, their interests, or any additional needs they have.
Please share only what you feel is necessary at the first point of contact. You do not need to disclose anything sensitive in order to make an enquiry, and you are welcome to keep your first message brief and discuss the detail with me directly.
Where you do tell me about your child, I treat that information as confidential and use it only to respond to your enquiry and, if you go on to instruct me, to advise you.
Some parents choose to tell me about a child's diagnosis, learning difference, or mental or physical health. Under data protection law this is called special category data and it is given extra protection.
I only process this information where you have chosen to give it to me, and I rely on your explicit consent to do so. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting me through the contact form, and I will delete the information unless I am required to keep it.
Again, you do not have to provide this information to contact me.

Schools are not given your details unless you have asked me to approach them on your behalf.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare and Web3Forms may store and process information outside the UK. Where information is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as UK approved standard contractual clauses.
